Our Front Porch allows you to reach all app users via push notifications, delivered instantly to all mobile devices. The notifications can be sent to:
All residents - (those who have downloaded the app and have registered with Front Porch). 
Any sub-community - (if your community is divided into different sections or areas) 
Any custom groups - (board members, committees, activities groups, etc.)

Best practice -  All registered users will be in included in the category "All Residents" by default. Creating additional "sub communities" can be beneficial for specific communications. If your community has different sections, builders, phases, or if you typically refer to certain areas by another name, a custom sub community may be helpful. Remember, we'll need to know the name(s) of all sub-communities prior to launching the app. It's important to note that your residents will actually need to know which sub-community they belong to, which will prevent any confusion during registration. Emails, e-Newsletters and notifications can be delivered to these custom user groups as well.
